RandomSofa is a random system that shows you something different every time. It could be a word, a color, a question, a task, a message, an idea or a sentence. There's no order, no context, no continuation. Every time it's something else. Every time it's a beginning that has no idea where it's going.
RandomSofa doesn't try to get to know you, learn from you, or tailor itself to what it thinks you want. It simply offers. Something, every time.
The system isn't based on data, it draws no conclusions, it won't know what you did before and won't remember you next time. And yet, there are moments when what it produces manages to be spot-on, to move you, to surprise you, to make you laugh, or to pull you for one second out of whatever you thought you were looking for.
You can use it when you're bored, when you're stuck, when you don't feel like thinking, or when you do feel like thinking but don't know where to start.
RandomSofa doesn't promise anything dramatic, but it does promise that every click will give you something you don't fully control. And that's already quite a lot.
If it did something for you – awesome!
If not – just click again :)
